How do you get shiny micarta shiny again?

When trying to shine almost anything, the first thing I try is Happich Simichrome. It works just fine on Micarta, too.

Is the micarta scratched up, or just a little dull in color? If it is all scratched up, just use some sandpaper, and use increasingly finer grits until you like the finish. IF it has just gotten dull, I would try to buff it, Rub some wax into it, until it shines. If the color has just faded a little bit, try rubbing a little oil on it, although the wax will work for that as well, and give you a shinier surface.
