How do you grind an arc ?

How do you grind a plunge line that arcs away from the ricasso?

This is a crazy easy thing to do when you realize what happens it is done without forming the cutting edge. You grind very little at the ricasso and slowly take off more metal until you are as high on the blade as you want to go and also are grinding for the cutting edge. Frank

Can you work the same thing with a wheel for a hollow grind?
