How do you like your Out-Of-The-Box edges?

I'm interested in starting to sell some knives here and there, but I was curious on what people like for their edges on brand new knives.


I ask, only because I only have the option of going to a 1-3k edge and stop on raw leather or newspaper.
 
Depends on the knife's intended use, the steel used, the HT, the edge geometry, the blade's geometry, and the skill of the sharpener.

:o Uh, I'm particular though.
