How do you like your spacers?

As I was looking over my collection last night, I began to notice how many different lengths of spacers there are. What do you prefer on your knives? I tend to go for either a completely open spine or I go for knives with a full steel or G10 spacer.

It usually is dependent upon the knife and what I'm using it for, but generally speaking, I like the look of a full (steel or titanium) spacer, but for practicality I like an open spine (for cleaning).
