How do you look up a member's profile?

But without seeing it first how do you find them is what I think he is asking. Ive often had probs locating certain people as well as there doesnt seem to be a shortcut. I first type their handle into the search and if I get no results, I will add them onto my ignore list and that will typically bring them up, of course I delete them soon after adding them.
 
Advanced search just below the search window.
Go to user name, start typing and presto.
Click on that and you are brought to their profile
