Hello all I am new here so please bare with me if this is a dud topic. I open my 110 and 112 with my thumb like it has a thumb stud. I was just wondering how everyone else opened their 110 / 112. I have heard of some people that had a sheath that opened the blade when it was deployed, has anyone seen or have one. How well do they work? Thank you for your time. John

Bought one of the sheaths for "fast deployment"...would be happier if the sheath left the house...faster. Maybe it was where I got it, but it has never been a super consistant worker for me.

Thanks guys for the input. Is there a way to loosen the blade tention to make the knife open easier? John

I use old reliable 2 handed method. I had a Bandit on my 110 but took it off and went back "old school". Bandits work great, I just decided I didn't want it on my knife.

If I am playing around, I will grab the spine of the blade and swing out the handle. I'm pretty sure I'll cut myself or drop my knife on concrete if I keep doing this so I don't do it often.

For closing I will use two hands or fold it against the back of my thigh.

:) 110 :)

LOL I have dropped many knives when I was younger with the sling the handle down while holding the blade.
