How do you order from the custom shop?

Wow, talk about quick delivery from the custom shop these days. I called in an order to Pete for two knives on Tuesday of this week, and he called back on Thursday to say they were in the mail. Faster than the proverbial speeding bullet. Regrettably, my wife took the return call. :) :)

I used to hear "don't you already have that one?". Then I would proudly show the difference in the wood, steel, or other feature.
Think I bored her to tears...she doesn't ask anymore.

she seen the yellowhorse i got and says it is the best looking knife i got..
but ....
she knows "i only collect 110's"
so i still have to figure out some how jest how to justiffy to her my buying a
13 inch pig sticker !!!

and i sure could use some help on that one!!!

Just say "geez honey...all the other guys are gettin' 'em and soon they will all be gone".

I still haven't used mine. Even though I carry a sheath regularly (though not as often now that I EDC the 880), that 651 just may push the tolerence of my local Five-0 :eek: unless I could convince them I was wearing it as a sword and am on my way to the Renaissance Fair.

I had contact with the custom shop and the people there are really communicative! I have one question thought: Aren´t the custom 110 not much more expensive today than some years ago?

I think I gave around 150.00 for a Sambar scaled one with BG blade some years ago. Now would the same knife with damascus blade be 580.00. Less with BG blade but still much more.

I think that the custom 110 was worth much more money than I payed and I don´t think that they are overprized today. I only wonder why the prices are so much higher.
