For those of you that sell sheaths.
How do you package it?
I've received some pretty cool packaging with the knives I've bought. Decorated cardboard tubes, zipper pouches, otter boxes, drawstring baggies, leather pouches, brown butcher paper tied with jute twine, etc...
I believe these extra touches make a difference to the buyer.
If, and when, I start selling sheaths, I intend to wrap them in oiled parchment, or soft leather and tie it with some sort of natural twine. For a survival sheath, maybe in a space blanket tied with paracord. Actually, that sounds ugly... Anyway, you get what I mean.
With all the "unboxing" videos that you see posted by knife nuts on YouTube, I think it's a great idea to dress up the packaging as much as possible without adding too much to the cost.
Freebies are always good too. A business card couldn't hurt either.
