How Do you Prepare your Scotch for Survival

How do you drink your scotch. I start off drinking it straight, then I ice it, then I water it later into the night when I can't taste it anymore.

this is a very important Scotch survival question so do not take it litely, your survival may depend on it one day.

I am preparing mine as we speak.
 
I worry about dilution and, possibly, infiltration/infestation.

Thus, I usually toss it straight up and straight down. My withered taste buds don't seem to go dull anymore; that is, I don't really lose the taste now. Perhaps this is the benefit of many decades of dedicated planning and research?

If I am too heated, I will occasionally allow a little spring water.

My second important survival question always involves the total volume of acceptable single malt on hand. I feel a year's supply is acceptable, although just barely. Two years is more like it.

[Remember -- your single malt is only really secure...when it is inside you!]
 
NEVER, NEVER ICE!!!

My god man! Maybe if it's a cheap blend, but never single malt.

Only a wee bit o' water.

On the rocks.. the water unleases locked-up flavours when the ice melts... and with a wonderfull cigar such as a Fuente Fuente Opus X

A few drops of cool (not cold) spring water really wake up the flavors in a single malt. I don't know why but it works.
 
shoot it like a shot of tequila:D I treat the JWBlue like it cost 5.00 a bottle.
3 bottles in the last three weeks alone. Gotta lay off 800.00 a month on JWB:thumbup: :D

HOLY COW! You could of had a couple of INFI knives for that!!!! :eek:

He has no trouble getting INFI.. Have ya seen his collection??

Wait a minute, maybe there's something there we can learn.. Huummmmm, drink lot's o' scotch, get lot's o' INFI..

Nahhhhh, couldn't be.. That's to easy..

The Glenlivet is too overbearing now. I'm spoiled on the Blue:D
 
the good stuff i drink on the rocks, if it not so good i drink it with a splash of water, when im fishing and don't have potible water or ice i drink it neet or is it neat, ni, shrubbery NI NI!!!:eek: :eek: :eek:
 
I drink alot of mine strait. I like my Tillamore Due with Ice, just tastes better to me. Glenllivetts I drink strait. Highland Park.....Strait, every time. I almost never use water

Actually I think it is best to hold the bottle in front of you and say........

"Get into ma Bellie!! - Ima going to drink ya all up!!"

Straight... Cigar lit and knives brandished!

Once in a while over ice....but only with ice from a glacier in Alaska. Scotch is to important to defile with ordinary tap made ice. Hehehe!

All B.S. aside JWB or Oban is the way that I go.
 
my favorite mixture - one part ice, one part milk (whole ) never the low fat stuff, that's for sissies.
