How do you remove superglue from your hands?

I tried some superglue today (by accident)
and it works really great for protecting
sensitive fingers from rough materials.
But how do you get the blasted stuff
off. I spent some time sanding and slicing.
There has to be a better way than that!

I just let it dry good and peel it off real slowly.

Take care!! Michael

Hey Gearfreak,

When I get a load of superglue on my fingers, I put some fresh superglue on the old glue and then "grab a hold" of something fairly solid. A vice or anvil works nicely... Then pull real hard!!!

The new superglue pulls off all that old superglue and all that "old dead skin..."

But hey, you didn't say you didn't want it to hurt... (Ha, ha, ha...)

Really, when I've rubbed my fingers down and they are starting to get a little tender, I just wrap a piece of the "handyman's helper," duct tape around my finger or put a layer on the palm of my hand...

Duct tape wears a lot better than a thin layer of superglue and it doesn't need some "very nasty" chemical to get it off...

Good Luck,

Super glue doesnt like oil under it.just let it dry and bend it on your finger until it starts to crack some then soak your fingers in some baby oil for a few and the stuff peels right off without hurting..It helps to work the glue on your finger in the oil just like you did to make it crack. It doesnt take very long....
