How do you remove your Recon 1Thumb Studs?

Little buggers are on there good.

Any tips or tricks? Do you use heat? Pliers? Jackhammer?

Mine came off relatively easily, but recently I had trouble with a new model voyager. I held a soldering iron to the thumbstud for about 7 seconds and then used pliers with rubber bands on the jaws to hold one side and unscrewed the other side with a proper screwdriver.
