Don't know if it's common anymore, but in the 60's and early 70's hippie-Christians would sing Kumbaya at their gatherings. It's an old spiritual. It became synonymous with "gentle Jesus" approach to Christianity, leading to the meaning you see above.

Ordinarily I would never make light of a banning but since, (as you mentioned in the moderator's area), he had already been addressed for trolling by at least three mods and followed up by asking to be removed, I see no reason to address the situation with artificial solemnity.
