I am really wanting a Falkniven F1 as well as RC-6. The Flalkniven gives me pause simply because I don't know how to sharpen a fully convex blade like the Falkniven.
I have made some convex edges with the old mousepad-sandpaper method. Is that how one sharpens a factory full conves like an F1? I also have both a bench strop and a convensional strop. I know the conventional strop is good up to a point.
So, what I am going to have on my hands sharpening-wise of I buy myself a factory full convex like the Falkniven F1?
FWIW, heavy service like batoning and whatnot is what the RC-6 and my axe is for so the F1 would be doing more traditional cutting, slicing, carving chores.
