How do you sheath/carry your fixed blades?

Hey guys, I'm looking for some pics of different sheath/carry set-ups. Do you guys use nylon, kydex, leather, or something else? On the hip, leg, pack?

Let's see those set-ups!

I like to carry mine on my right hand side (3 o'clock) on my belt. Preferably in a leather sheath, but kydex and nylon are OK too :)

I prefer a leather crossdraw when hiking or straight up- high ride on my right hip around sheeple.

I go with the scandi dangler on my right. If the brush is thick, or I'm in town, I put the sheath in my front pocket, but keep it attached to my belt.

No pics but I carry my RC-4 in the Kydex either attached to the left shoulder strap of my pack or attached to my belt around 3:00...

I clip the sheath to the binar hanging from a sling running around my waist.
My homemade kydex sheath has a binar hole.

At home, I put the sheath into my hip pocket.

Pocket. Right rear usually. Keeps it secure and available without being in the way of a pack hip belt or a waist pack.

My knife is smaller ( 3" blade,6 1/2" OAL) than most "bushcraft" knives, however it is large enough to be very usefull.

Leather sheath on my right hip.

If I'm backpacking, I put a caribiner through the belt loop and hang it from one of my pants belt loops.

In this photo, you can see the carabiner option, it's right there next to the hiking staff, hanging off a blue biner: (NO pictures of how I normally wear it without a pack, just imagine putting my belt through the belt loop.)

It depends on the knife. I use to use a ranger band to help me carry a Mora clipper sideways on the small of my back-- but this obviously only works when I don't have a pack on.

Right now I've been carrying an RC-3 and I'm still experimenting. I have the jump proof sheath and I think I'm going to take off the backing. The Kydex really seems to hold it pretty securely. Then again, I've lost more knives than I care to admit-- never a RAT, but I don't know if I'm up for taking that chance.

My knife carry/sheath philosophy has always been a simple one -
The sheath needs to be as tough as the knife, and a knife that is loose in its sheath is a dull knife.

No pictures, but I carry a Mora 2000 in a custom kydex sheath from OnScene. I carry it upside-down on a double loop of orange paracord, bandolier style, under my left arm. When I'm carrying a backpack, it goes on last and comes off first.

I like to carry my sheath on my left hip...for a right had cross draw....with belt loops over-sized for angling the sheath in various directions.

Leather sheath, carried horizontally. Right hand cross draw on my left hip. I do a lot of bending, squatting, and climbing, and it's never in the way.

Busse Game Warden w/kydex in pocket and Busse Badger Attack TAC w/ kydex on belt, right hand/reverse draw.

I hate the sound of plastic and also of velcro and I dislike tactical looking things for the most part so I prefer natural leather, but i do use plastic for things like my Mora that rides in the rule pocket of my carpenter pants / shorts. I like to put a lanyard that gets slipped under my belt on anything I would hate to lose.
