How do you store your knives.

Somewhere where I would find them again before dropping em into my pocket or backpack. Most of the time they're in my bag which is with me most of the time.

I use a Plano tacklebox that I bought at Walmart.
I have 16+ knives in it. If you store thin knives you can put 3 into each slot for a total of at least 24. If you have shorter knives you can add another divider and put a total of about 36 in there. Plano sells a box with handles that carries 4 of these so you could easily carry 144 of your favorite knives with you.

looks good, but what about big fixed blades?

In a desk drawer with a couple permanently assigned to my truck, boat, and backpack as backups.

My EDC knives are in a drawer in my watch box on my dresser. My fixed blades are in the small gun safe, my kitchen knifes are in a block, a drawer, and two rolls. I keep a drawer full of project knives in my workshop.

I ordered a few of these Monday.

This way I can keep them in my humidity and temperature controlled safe. I'll let you guys know how they work tomorrow when they arrive! I stole the picture from Glocker199 on this forum who gave me the excellent idea! Best part is there only $10 from Maxmysafe.com

Mine are all in my Safes in there boxes and the name on the end or Tubes laying down facing the door where I can read what is and in one Safe I have to dig to find what I am looking for.! Life is rough but you have to go on.!** LOL

Haven't changed my storage methods since the last two "how do you store your knife threads". I keep them in plastic boxes called "Really Useful Box" which are sold at Office Depot. The ones I have little current interest in looking at are kept in a Rubbermaid tub; actually two tubs. That includes Customs.

for my small collection I use a box that I bought off of Ebay...... BOCOTE & YELLOWHEART

I keep mine in a Kennedy Machinist tool box. It has ample storage at the top for sharpeners, and other knife stuff, two large, full width drawers, and six half-width drawers for everything else. It's lockable, so the grand kids wont get into trouble.

I still store my folders in old wooden wine and cigar boxes with Elvis velvet in he bottom....try to get about a 10-day rotation in each. Pull one from the safe about every two weeks.

I keep the fixies in foam attaches, same arrangement. I carry fixed maybe 20% of the time.
