How do you store your knives.

Simple and cost effective.

Pretty much all in brag bags inside Rubbermaid totes, several Kershaw and ZT, a couple of Spyderpac, and one Benchmade. I do remember at least one thread like this a while ago.

I received this from my sister yesterday. So far, it holds all of my folders (50+), a handful of pocket slips, keychain tools, and has room for more.

The Emerson PTAC and Farid K2 are two of the largest folders I have, so I put them in there to show scale.

Where is that from?

Found an old file cabinet, slapped a lock on it and mounted it to my wall. I ordered some of those safe pouches too which are awesome for holding knives.Gonna have to order more soon!

All of mine are laying on the top shelf of my gun safe, except for the two that I keep out at a time for daily carry/outdoor activities.

I keep some in my bathroom drawer where I get ready in the morning

The rest I had/store in various places in my house, so that my wife will never see all that I have in one place

Wow I'm very jealous of some of the storage containers I'm seeing.. I have a big range bag with padded inserts that I use, but I knife-urbate daily. So none of my knives go very long without being admired and handled. I get a great deal of enjoyment from looking at my knives. Each one has something about it that I love.

I'll bet you would enjoy just opening a drawer, for quick relief:)
Tool boxes/chests are great for this.
Cheers

I use a metal Intec Case thing that used to host a gameboy from my younger years. The gameboy is long gone, but I took one of the inserts out of the case and it seems to work for all of the knives that are really special to me.

And a Sterilite stackable drawer set holds the rest.

Mostly in my pockets? My job requires speed so keep my fast deployment kinves there until I get off work, then they go in my work hat, then grab my at home knives off of the top of the refrigerator and put them in my pockets.

I have many, many knives, and they are almost all worth stealing, so they go in here (the BIG safe with the guns is upstairs):

I think display cases are a bad idea -- if a thief breaks into your place, a display case makes stealing your entire collection extremely convenient. I had this happen to a friend of mine years ago - entire collection gone - and I learned from his mistake.

While I would agree, unless you bolt your safe down you are doing the same thing. A safe says "I'm valuable, steal me". While a safe not bolted down is better than say a display cabinet it is still a invitation to steal all your valuables in one shot.

Please do not take this as me saying you are wrong as I am not saying that at all.

^^^ Where I live, thieves wouldn't have the time and means to get a safe like this out of where it is, but they would easily have time/means to take small display cases off a wall or table. Just making it as hard as possible is all one can do... Cheers!
