How do you store your S!K collection?

So, I am finally getting to the point where I can claim I have a knife "collection, and I'm happy to say there are more S!K than any others (and in a couple months, there will be more S!K than the others combined).

I have seen peg-boards with all the knives hanging, but most pictures are the whole collection laid out.

How do you guys store your collections? I am thinking of a Pelican case with foam cutouts, and a dessicant bag... or clearing a shelf in the gun safe...

ETA: Pictures, even if just showing off, will get you extra credit.

I keep mine in my gun safe.. No spray on preservative or anything like that.. They are as prized as my guns though so that's where they sleep.. lol

Store mine in a cedar lined 7 drawer chest (proverbial sock drawer-LOL). Those are always out of their sheaths, oiled and usually waxed. All the sheaths are stored in a big plastic tub with lid mainly so I don't misplace them. My users are hanging on the coat hook or by my desk but they get wiped down fairly often.

I keep my S!Ks in the sheath on my belt. If I'm not using one of them they sit on a dresser, kitchen table, car seat or under the bed.

For the past year my S!Ks have been carefully stored in various stages of production in a secure facility in the heart of the Idaho panhandle.

I was storing em in a safe when not in use, but it's in the garage and it gets humid as f#$k here in sc...so fearing rust..they graduated to a box in my closet lol

My 4.1 ( one of 3 lol) gets stored on my belt...it never leaves my side unless legally forced too.

Hey Bobby, can you use an extra Like-New Survive! GSO-5 kydex sheath in FDE? It's my way of paying it forward for your helping me out with the GSO-10 fasteners ;)

No thanks, I'm a black on black on tumbled kinda guy lol...but I'm sure someone here would/will want/ need a new 5 sheath.

Fair enough Bud, I thought that I offer it to your first.

Next up: Silver or Grogie not in any particular order. If any of these Ladies should read this post, please let me know ;)

I thought that I should be an equal opportunity Samaritan by also mentioning two very manly-men, so if the above lovely ladies don't want it how about these two very rugged Gents: Standard or H.K?

It's free dammit with shipping on me :D

Does it come with a 5 also?😂.

Much appreciated but I don't have a 5 to use it.

When my ex split she left her dresser, it and an old wooden chest hold most of my knives. Pretty snazzy storage, all things considered.

I can quickly make you a CSO: Casino Stocks Original 5". On second thoughts, never mind!

Casino, PM coming to you ;)

EDIT: To clarify, the PM is about the sheath NOT the Casino 5"..............

Going to a good home there. Sadly, I has no five!

Thanks for the thought though CS, cheers bud.

As far as storage, some in my gun safe and a bunch of ones in rotation lined up on top of the safe. I'm probably not much help, but I will make this suggestion: Whatever you decide to get, buy it several times larger than you think you'll need.

When/if you settle on something, let us know if you get a chance, I have a hunch you're the creative type :)

I like the idea of a machinist's tool chest
Maybe I'll make myself something with a stack of drawers...

I like to use most of my GSOs and other brand knives. Because of this I have most of them in a drawer, a few in my EDC and camping bags, one in my car and I am going to move a few to my safe.

I've got a bunch of stuff scattered throughout bugout bags, vehicles, and hunting packs that get regular use. I just let them ride in the sheath. Just don't do what I did and throw it on the dash in the kydex during the summer if you live in a hot climate. I totally ruined a nice Mashed Cat kydex sheath by leaving my frequent user on the dash of my truck on a 108 deg day last summer.

OUCH!! We did break 3 digit heat this past Friday but we don't get that hot, however it can get over 120 in a vehicle in the direct sun so good advice!!
