How do you suggest cleaning the scales of my Para2 Blue?

I heard the safest way to do so was with (soap of some kind?) and a toothbrush. Any suggestions?

I've got the same PM2. That's what I would do, mine aren't quiet dirty enough yet but when they get to that point that's what I'll do. Preferably dish soap if you ask me.

Cleaning without taking the knife apart, with G10 I use dish soap and toothbrush, magic eraser any remaining marks and smudges, towel dry, WD40 the pivot then hit it with compressed air, WD40 the G10 to spruce it up a bit, air dry, lube the pivot if desired.

I noticed the blue scales on my Sage 3 already look dirty after three or four days in the pocket and it surprised me a little to happen so early. Does the blue just show the dirt more than other colors?

APF, do you use Windex with ammonia and if so, does it affect the hardware and blade at all?

sounds like a high maintenance knife.

Magic Erasers will do it, as mentioned. Just remember that they're abrasive and will wear the G10 a small amount each time you use one. Use it evenly across the entire surface to avoid an uneven finish over time

I have used both with and without ammonia with success. The ammonia won't hurt the scales and is great for removing dirt from the blade as well.
