How do you SURVIVE!?

Let's see those Survive! Knives in action. Do you edc? Maybe just out in the field? Or is your Survive! just a work tool? Show off how you use your knife, have customized it, or even the safe queens. This is for the beauty and the beast. Most of all guys and dolls, make it fun.

I keep my 3.5 in my pocket, added pinstripe liners for extra comfort, and since I'm in Sweden I made a simple sheath out of reindeer leather. Sorry Rudolf, I'm not kidding.

That's the same way I carry the 3.5, but in the kydex. When you need it, grab the handle, thumb-push away from the sheath and you've got one-hand deployment

Yeah, it's the one-handed resheathing that is tricky!

(And not recommended, BTW :D)

No EDC with an S! for me and definitely not at the work place. I haven't gotten out in the woods nearly as much as I would like lately. Need to do something about that! Until I'm out adventuring again I try to keep enjoying them around the yard doing various wood work and fire prep and just trying out different skills.

Well at least you're enjoying it around the house!

I don't leave the house without the 4.1 on my hip anymore. I really want to try out a Necker 2 soon.

Just got back last yesterday from a trip to a state park. I got more odd looks at my LS strapped to the side of my pack then I did to my necker II on my strap. Good fishing trip I'll post some pics in the hunting fishing thread. :

I tried a little kitchen duty today with the 3.5. I've never done this before because of my former 1095 lifestyle and the coating on the blades. Also, whenever I'm in the kitchen I'm only a few feet away from, you know, the kitchen knives.

Prepping for tacos. Tomatoes and lettuce (not pictured) were fine, but I was surprised how the saber grind made the knife feel overly thick going through the full onion. Dicing was a breeze.

Slicing up an apple. Again, the saber grind pushed the apple apart instead of slicing, but despite that and because of the razor sharpness I was able to slice some transparent slices. Just because I could.
