**How do you tell the difference between a D2 Sifu and a ATS34 Sifu?

I am planning to buy a Stonewashed D2 Sifu with fingergrooves. What are the visual differences between the D2 Sifu and a ATS34 Sifu? Are the words D2 stamped on the D2 Sifus?

According to bquinlan's post, the new D-2 Sifus -- the fingerless version anyway -- has "D-2 enhanced" stamped beneath the REKAT logo. I'm sure it's the same with a regular D-2 version.

As for knowing for sure, well I guess you either have to take their word for it, or see how fast it rusts

(D-2 apparently isn't as resistant to oxidation as ATS-34).

Actually, I have the version with finger grooves, but otherwise that is correct.

Each knife has it's blade steel stamped on it - either D2 or ATS
