what is the correct way to soak a loose sheath in Hot water to make it a tighter fit so the kukri doesnt fall out?
thanks for any info.

Have any of you ever used furniture pads? These are the non scratch pads that stick to the bottom of chair and table legs as to not mark your wood floor. They come in a variety of diameters and thicknesses plus have a crazy strong glue backing. I buy the appropriate size and fit one near the mouth of the sheath. So far 100% success in holding the blades in upside down plus they are cheap.

Yes I have used them brown felt pads and they do stick like you say.
Sno: I suppose you could stick them under the leather if you want to hide them somewhat. May have to trim the thickness down with a razor?

I do not hide them under the leather. Too much work plus once they are in you can hardly see them.
