How do you wax inside of the leather sheath?

I read that people wax the inside of leather sheath with very good results in long storage, but cannot figure out how to do this practically. I'd appreciate if anyone could share how they do that.

I do mine with a piece of cloth tied to limb or pencil. Then dip it in your Sno-seal, It works. DM

Ideally before you stitch it! A hair dryer is the best bet, I'd use a silicon spatula and a bright headlamp to see what you are doing. "Sno Seal" or just beeswax melted, dip in spatula, make sure leather is warm, and spread inside. Note that it changes the color of the leather a lot.

I wouldn't do that, whatever the carrier is to aerosolize it is going to be a solvent,no?
Heat up a glob of wax and spread it inside keeping it warm the whole time. Don't go crazy a little goes a long way.

How about dipping the sheath in hot wax? Scrape off the excess when it has cooled?
Does anyone have experience trying that?
