How does a swell-center jack feel?

I've never been attracted to the look of swell-center jacks. But lately I'm starting to think that my mind is NOT serving me well as the knives that do attract me aren't comfortable in the hand when whittling.

For example, I just recently realized that in multiple-blade knives, it little matters how the open edge of the handle looks, as my fingers will never touch it -- only the backs of the unopened blades. And only single-bladed knives or knives with two blades hinged at separate ends don't gouge my fingers with the sharp edges of the back corners of the closed blades.

So how does a swell-center jack FEEL?

I think they feel great in hand! It's kinda like a palm swell on a Fixed Blade, It just
fits good in hand and if you need to choke up on the knife it still feels good, Because
of where the hump is located. I enjoy the pattern. Here's an old Keen Kutter

I like them too. I'm currently wanting to find the change to pick up a swell center whittler. The only swell center I have now is this Schatt and Morgan:

I think it fits the hand nicely.
