How does Camillus mark their Carbon Steel blades?

I recently could not resist buying
one of those ugly new Yell O Jaket
stockmen from Smokey Mt. KW. The
reason I puchased it, is because it
was cheap and was advertised as being
Carbon Steel. It came a little rough,
but cleaned up nicely. When I received
the knife the tang stamping is exactly the
same as all my other Camillus knives (Camillus
New York U.S.A.). Surely camillus marks
their Carbon bladed knives differently?
If so in what way? It seems to be
stainless to me. Anyone know?

Thanks, -Rebus

Those "special" Yello-Jakets were a limited run just for SMKW. Camillus does not distinguish between carbon and Stainless with Tang Stamps. Hope this helps.

Thanks CheryIR, I appreciate your reply.
It seems strange that they do not indicate
the type of steel in some way?
