How does everyone carry their CRK?

I just received a small Sebenza 31 and I'm wondering how everyone carries their knives.
I'm coming from the world of slipjoint knives, so knife slips are not new to me. But I understanding that "snail trails" are inevitable and honestly I'm looking forward to them as I'm a fan of patina.

I bought my Sebenza used and am sending it off for a spa treatment before I put it in my pocket.
I'd like to get it looking new (and sharpened) before I put it to use.

With that in mind, how do you all carry your knives?
Slips? No slips? Clipped to your pocket? Throw it in your pocket with everything else?

Large gets clipped, Small is often drop in pocket. It's all about the snails, I hope you enjoy the journey!

Hawk clip, front pocket. There's often another with no clip in the opposite front pocket.

Large Night Sky 31 and small 21 Rhino CGG both in leather slips in my front pocket in the bottom. Alternating knife of the day clipped to the top of the same pocket. The leather slip knives I carry for sentiment, but can use if needed. Every other CRK can get snail trails, even my glass blasted ones, and I'm good with it.

Most of my CRKs just get clipped in my pocket. This one has been carried for extensively for 11 or 12 years. The scales are almost smooth from so many snail trails.

This Small 21 Insingo occasionally gets clipped in a pocket, but it rides in style in a nice leather slip from Sharp & Fiery Sharp & Fiery more often and the slip carries more of the wear.

In a slip from Sharp & Fiery Sharp & Fiery , the slip doesn’t keep the knife in pristine condition, I use one mainly to limit the snail trails from the other stuff in my pocket and to give me peace of mind that it won’t come up missing one day. The edges of the slabs still show signs of wear from it being in the slip.

I’ve just got a PJ Sebenza and Umnumzaan so they get carried like any other knife, in the pocket using the clip. Snail trails are expected and I’m fine with them.

If I ever get a night sky or Mnandi Box Elder I might get a bit pickier lol.

All my CRKs are stored in slipcases. The first two I bought came with them and I've just kept that up with all I've acquired. My 10 larges--various models and scale details--are carried clipped in my right front pocket. I have one drawer queen--a pristine, bocote, pre-Idaho--that came in the softest, most buttery CRK leather that only gets taken out for fondling, admiration and a wipe down. Only my Mnandi gets carried in its slipcase.
