How does one add a picture to a post HELP!~!!

first you need to press the little image icon above the text thingy you type in....
then add the url of your image...
or you can use image tags

[.i.m.g.].<.y.o.u.r.U.R.L.h.e.r.e.>.[./.i.m.g.]

take away all the dots in the above lines..
PS there is a support thread, and a couple of threads on how to do this...
 
You will need to load your pic to a hosting site (photobucket,flickr or other)Then copy the URL .click on the little pcture frame with the tree in the tool bar . paste URL and post. hope this helps.
 
If you have the picture uploaded to Photobucket, all you have to do is click on the bottom line in the "Links to share this photo" box, the one marked IMG. The code you need will be copied automatically. Then all you have to do is right click in the post you are composing where you want the picture to appear and click "Paste". If you click on the "Reply with quote" at the bottom of this post, you can see what it needs to looks like.

 
Just use the PhotoBucket Image link, and make sure you only keep the portion that begins and ends with , or the whole thing from [URL] to [URL].

Jack - I see in your link you kept both. When I keep the [url] parts - I get this:

Cool - I see it works both ways now. Hadn't tried it since the first day I noticed it, since it didn't work.

I can't follow the instructions these guys are giving you. Too much confusion. Here is what has been working, the easy way:

While paid members can upload pictures directly from their computers, anyone can open a photo hosting account.
I use www.photobucket.com . Download your pictures to the account and they give you URLs for each picture. Copy by left clicking the fourth URL choice, with the tags already in place & Paste that in your post here.[/INDENT]
