How does one get a Garth Edition?

Do you sacrifice alcohol in the name of Garth? Do you dip the knife in Garth's Alcohol enriched blood binding itself to the blade giving us the bronze color? Also is there such thing as a Jerry edition?
 
To my (limited) knowledge, they were only available direct during the one-time BladeShowGanzaaaa 2014 sale (see the bottom half).

They turn up fairly often in the For Sale subforum here, and, uh, if there were any forum members here with their own knife websites, well, you might hunt for them there too. Or, you could go to eBay and find one for 3x the original price. By any of these methods, you're getting one "second-hand" but quite a few are pristine.

As to the Jerry Edition, well, they've got that one chained up, liquored up, and locked in a strongbox in the shop - if it ever gets out...

I'd certainly like to see what choices Lexi and Pokey make for their editions; I get the impression both run towards satin blades (and mostly blue/black handles) - maybe they can use their influence to get Jerry to do a high polish mirror finish* (even moar of the shiny!!!1!), or maybe a pink or sky blue or purple coating, just to be really different. There's a few forum members who might jump on pink coated blades with pink/black G10 handles..

I was wondering the other day if they could do more than one color on a blade, and that snowballed into, "could they do a 'fruit stripe gum' blade"? Just to show off that they could?

Enough with the fancy edge grinds though - I want a fancy interior grind - start out with a TGLB, mill the fuller completely through, so it's a keyhole slot, then sharpen the interior edges of the slot, as a perfect continuous oval-shaped edge. Just because. Can't think of a use for it, but I don't think it's ever been done before :)

And what is the deal with "nuclear seahorse"? I've seen several references, but still in the dark. Any relation to tacoflage?

Edit: wow! That blade is insane! I think the bottle is a misdirect - looks like someone dropped acid before grinding that.

*: I'm guessing the price quote for "high polish mirror finish" would be something on the order of "one bottle of 20 year old whiskey per inch."

Avenged Sorrow, I think it's pretty clear that Mr. Brown is inviting you over to his house to help clean up the mess. He's got them Garth Editions strewn about everywhere.

And gga357, a Busse knife block is an awesome idea! Get that patented/trademarked before some else does, and go into business. Can you make one that fits my AK along with my other knives?
 
I didn't know that the Garth editions had the symbol on them like that , that's ****ing cool. Jerry's has to have the hog head on it , that would be sick.

If I had an "Avenged Sorrow" Edition it would have to be a TGLB with Red and black Micarta with a brighter red color , Black blade coating with a red symbol of my Death character I like to draw.

That's the Nuclear Seahorse locked away in the "janitor's" closet....Pokey takes it out occasionally and will dust it off then back in it goes!!!!
 
The legends say to own every busse blade since 1982 , then once you have all of them , you must take Johnny Walker Blue Label and pour it all over them. They will form together and make the ultimate Busse blade , some say it's the Folder of everyone's dreams , some say it's an entirely new design. The legend also says that it has the ability to break adamantium by just falling on it. Rumor has it that Jerry has it locked in his throne room located under the facility. The throne is like the Game of Thrones Iron throne , but with Busse knives. This is where Jerry drinks his JWBL and watches football , but to get to him you must defeat his pet Hog. Jerry has a battle Hog named Nuclear Meltdown Destroyer Apocalyptic Assassin Battle Mistress that guards his throne room. Once you defeat that , you then will face the man himself. No one knows what comes after that , but I know that is the true Jerry edition.
