New sign in page makes me choose to opt out every time I log in even after I have signed in ?

That had gone on for a few days but now seems to have vanished again without any changes. I blame this guy.

I still get the pop up

It does let me opt out.

Might be a Duck Duck go thing ?

Just started last week and now it is everytime I re-login asks if I want to opt out.

still having to opt out every time I log in.

lots of pressure to share data.

In case it is useful, the ublock origin extension, besides blocking ads, also has an element picker that lets you pick and choose things on webpages to block. I find it is often useful for getting rid of stuff that repeatedly pops up like that. I don't have the cookies popup to test it on myself though

Late edit: tested working (kiwi (chrome) but the addon is available on Firefox as well)

What browser are you using?
I use Brave and I never see them. If I remember correctly the default settings in Brave block popups and third party cookies.

add: I just fired up Firefox and I see the popup. Think there is a popup blocker extension for Firefox. Haven't tried it, though.

I use Firefox and Duck Duck Go.

It is only Blade Forums that I have to opt out of tracking every time I log on.

And it is a new thing within the last couple of months.

Try adding a pop-up blocker blocker extension to Firefox.
PopUpOff appears to be popular.

I don't use Duck Duck Go, so I have no suggestions for that one. I stopped using their products when they started "adjusting" their search engine results to "avoid misinformation" hits. (Thank you very much DDG, but I will decide what is and is not misinformation for myself.)

Cookies will prob be deprecated soon per internet standards so you can just wait it out too.

any idea when that will be ?

Still asking to opt in for cookies every single time i log in.

I am avoiding cookies as I am trying to lose weight.

I know it would stop if I just let it use cookies to market to me but I do not want to be marketed to :)

I thought I paid a membership to not be marketed to ?

Still waiting ????

David Brown David Brown , try the Brave explorer. I use it, and I don't have this issue.

Thought about it. When you are logged out and you first contact BF, the system has no idea who you are. So there is no forum setting that will eliminate the pop-up. It is not possible to have one.
So you have two options
1) Remain logged in, so that when you open BF, it already knows who you are. That could be an acceptable option if you have 100% control of the device you use for accessing BF. But do not use this option with a shared device, such as a "family" computer, or any other device to which multiple people have access. To remain logged in, close the browser without logging out.

2) Use a pop-up blocker. There are extensions for both Chrome and Firefox which will do that. Or you can do as David Mary David Mary and I have both suggested and use Brave Browser. It has a built-in pop-up blocker as a default setting.
