Hey guys its been a long while since I was a contributing member of this fine forum but I still lurk around all the time. Anyway, I've been getting the craving for a Strider lately and I think Im just about to pull the trigger. Ive always seen and liked the looks of their digicam blades but never really understood how they are made and what they feel like. Ive never handled one but it looks to me like its almost a laser etching process. If anyone could clue me in on how they are actually made and what they feel like that would be great, I imagine the finish is a bit rough as opposed to smooth. And also how does it hold up. Thank you very much, I tried searching here and even google and there really wasnt any information.

The Digi cam Striders are by far my favorites. They are done with laser engraving starting with a black coated blade. In the past there were a few different variations.
You can feel the engraving but its not necessarily "rough" and from my experience the finish holds up well.

Nice thank you for the info. Thats kind of what I was expecting but I wasnt sure. If anybody wants to post any pics of digicam stryders thatd be awesome, especially close ups-
