How does the Memory Centofante wear?

I am thinking to save up for a Memory Centofante for Christmas. I think it's an absolutely gorgeous knife, but seeing as I'll need to save quite a bit (and probably sell off my Salt 1 and my Tenacious to get it) I am a bit concerned on getting it full of scratches and dings and spots... both the CF and the light blue anodinisation seem very delicate and I don't want it to look awful in a few weeks of carry...
I will use it as a daily edc... regular office carry.. some paper cutting, some box opening or fruit cutting... occasionally dropped on pavement maybe. Not sitting with keys on pocket but clipped to the inside of the pants.

What do you guys think? Has anyone edced it for a longer period, how does the finish hold up in regular carry and use?

PS: It's also the same shade of metallic light blue as my car so that's a nice touch :D

Anodized titanium is a bit more scratch resistant than anodized aluminum, but it will scratch and the scratches will show more than they would on an uncoated stainless handle. How well it stands up to EDC is going to be directly related to how you treat it. If you carry it clipped, in a pocket free of other metallic objects, take care not to slide it around on stone counters, and don't drop it on the pavement, it should stay good looking for a long time. Worst you'll see in that case is some wear around the edges. Treat it poorly and it will look like this, or worse...

That's some good looking wear right there. Not mistreated at all from what I can tell. Just used a good deal. Excellent.

I got in on the Massdrop deal for one of these. Looking forward to seeing just how nice these are.

I think they're very nice. The one in those photos was a gift from Sal back when they first came out Based on the scuffs and scratches I'm sure it had been carried, by him or someone else at Spyderco. I'm not a huge fan of "wrong handed" locks and the Memory is one of the least "lefty friendly" of them. Nor am I a fan of "all edge" blades, my usual preference is models with 50/50 choils. In spite of that, I not only carry that Memory occasionally it's also the "dedicated desk knife" on my computer desk and I went out and bought one a few weeks after receiving it. Only thing I'm not too crazy about is the sliver woven glass scale. It's a bit too "bling" for my taste and, one of these days, I'm going to get around to replacing it with a nice piece of ivory.

Hope you like yours when it arrives.

I have Memory for about a year and half. Carry it once in a while, few time every month. I do not see any scratches on glassfiber. There are some wear of blue anodize, mostly on edges and few light scratches. SO far it doesn't bother me. Beautiful knife. I am very impressed. It was already twice on Massdrop. May be will be there again.
