How does the Sebenza 31 Pocket Clip stand up to wear?

I haven't run across any pictures of an EDC Sebenza 31 that shows how the pocket clip stands up to bumps and rubs incurred as normal wear and tear and was wondering just how the clip "ages" as it bumps into things or rubs against things during the course of every day carry and use?

Every time I bump or rub the pocket clip against something, I'm afraid to look at the clip LOL ... no damage so far, with light use and careful carry. I just seem to give the pocket clip more thought when carrying than it probably deserves HA

Does it become a shiny metal after much time as a carry? Does it handle bumps and rubs over time well? What does an often carried and used pocket clip look like after a good while? Thanks !!!

The clip will be the first part to get and show wear. Getting it reblasted or replaced because of wear though will be like trying to bail out a boat full of holes. Not worth it. I don't think it detracts from the look of the knife but the only way around it would be to not use the clip and and carry it loose in the pocket.

They hold up fine and will show wear. IMO these are the best pocket clips on the market. I blasted this one to a bronze, and the one on my Insingo to a dark blue with some MAP Gas.

I can’t post pictures right now, but will say that the above pictures show the wear the clips get VERY well. I have only had a 31 in my carry rotation for about a year but they wear just like my 21s.

This is one reason I prefer the stock CRK clips to any deep carry clip. A sprung, overextended pocket clip is a problem but the standard ones are easier to bend back. I just remove the clip, clamp the screw end to my workbench, and press down a bit. Problem solved. Deep carry clips have a bend that complicates things.

They're OEM'd by Piranha Knives. Wonder of some of their longer ones would be functional on a Sebbie...?
