How does this knife sound?

A Chinook with aftermarket wood scales, such as burl, maybe by Frank Recupero. Would that be a monster or what? Maybe have Gary Graley make a leather carry for it. Hmmmm.....

Sounds good to me too! I'll bet any kind of wood scales would look great.

Several months ago, someone posted here about a Chinook they had done up by Recupero. It had ivory micarta scales and everything fileworked. That was probably the coolest customized factory knife that I've ever seen.
