How does this work? Trading: Gadgets for knives, Knives for gadgets???

Quick question here for the authoritahs.....
If I have gadget that I want to trade for knives, where should I post,
and visa a versa.
Ideally, I'd prefer to post over in the knife trading forum, because it seems like that forum gets a lot more views. thanks.
 
You have a gadget to trade for a knife, I would imagine you post that in TRADE GADGETS AND GEAR.

You have a knife you want to trade for a gadget, TRADE KNIVES

Actually I was thinking the opposite would be true. As in aim for your audience.
But I don't really know.
 
Our guys in the exchange forum have it down well and I hope one of them will jump in here. For now I would place it in the forum of the target.
Meaning Gadget for knife - Knives for trade.
Knife for gadget - Gadgets for trade.
Beer for knife - Knives for trade.
Goats for Beer (or beer for goats) - W&C. :D
 
Opposite of what Gus said.;)

If you have a knife to trade for another knife or a gadget, post in Knives for trade.

If you have a gadget you want a knife or another gadget for, post in Trade: gadgets and gear.

I hope this makes sense.
 
It makes sense to me, put it in the forum based on what you HAVE, rather then what you want.
