How does wrapping the handle effect balance?

I just got a set of Cresent Knife Works, Pierce Arrow knives. They are nice. Long lines, good weight and just slightly assymetrical shape that makes them more interesting.

I'm thinking about wrapping the handles with some paracord. I realize that the weight of the paracord is insignifigant compared to the weight of the knife, so it is not likley to affect the balance to much, but I thought that I would ask you guys with more experience throwing then I.

I wouldn't think wrapped handles would affect balance much, since it doesn't really have to be exact anyway, but I haven't wrapped any of my thrower's handles, so I'm just guessing. Let us know what you find out.

just wondering, why do you think so? Besides, it has no guard so I guess it won't be that easy to keep the wrap sliding down after each throw.

Wrap it tight and if that don't work, Hot glue! Peels right off when you want it to!

Put a lite coat of epoxy on it. Once it sets it won't slide. It won't affect the balance that much and if you want to take it off a small cut wheel on a dremil will do fine.
Happy throwing:)
