How easy or hard is it to open the Spyderco Tatanka with one hand?

I don't have any stores nearby that have a tatanka on display and I have read conflicting reports online while researching this model. I would like to add this model to my collection. My main concern is ease and speed of opening.

How easy is it to manually open the tatanka using just your thumb and the spyder hole vs other spyderco lockbacks like endura or delica? Does the weight of the blade, position of the opening hole, size of the opening hole, or powerlock mechanism make this knife harder and slower to open vs an endura? Thanks.

I think it opens pretty easily considering the size. Now closing the beast takes a little practice. I'd consider it a two hand closer just to be on the safe side.

Big knife with a heavy blade makes it a little more difficult to open.
Also the size of your hand makes a difference. With this one the bigger the better.

+1. I almost chopped my finger off in the SFO trying to one-hand close the Beast.... I didn't like the knife much before that, though, of course, the operator was the idiot. ;)
