How far in should the liner lock sit on my Commander when blade locked open?

I was wondering if someone could post a photo of how far in the liner lock on a Commander should sit when the blade is locked open. Mine sits about 1/2 way in when opened with a good snap. Anyone got an illustration of what should be considered within tolerance for a new knife?

Hi Ben- I took a picture of my lock in the open position, I think mine sits just about perfect. Donald.

Mine looks just about like that. My only other problem is that the blade is not well centered between the liners and it is a bit too tight.
Nothing like a Commander. Great knife.
