Hey guys.
I've been looking around for a good axe and hatchet for some time now. And I can't find a Wetterlings where I live, and online shopping isn't possible, but I can get Husqvarna.

So I'm wondering how good they are and if they are worth the price.
Thx in advance

I heard they were made by Wetterlings and sometimes Gransfors and Hultafors, but I have no actual experience with them.

I have no idea who made the hatchet I have, but if it where any better it would lop off limbs by magic! I'm thinking of buying another, just to have!

I have a Husqvarna and love it. It came extremely sharp and the fit and finish on it is great. Not too wild about the loose fitting ill sized blade cover for it but I would highly recommend the tool itself. Took it camping last weekend and it made short work out of a tree for the camp fire.

The handle on it comes pretty raw (as I suspect most do) so I soaked it down in mineral oil and then gave it 3 or 4 coats of tung oil. Nice little camp tool.
