How good is Blade-Tech about replacement parts/waranty work?

One of my screw heads (that goes in to each of the pillars) on my Ganyana lite snapped off in taking the knife apart. I contacted them tonight via their website. Does anyone know how good Blade-Tech is about this kind of stuff. I just need a replacement pillar and 2 screws.

Most companies would send out that part... Im sure they will just send it to you... Would not make sense to send it in for that....

Is bladetech a good company? From the looks of that knife its an immitation spyderco. Not knocking it in any way because idk the company, jw.

The bladetech hole shape came before the spyderco byrd line's hole shape did. The blade seems like a nice folder. The liner lock seems a little flimsy, but for a $30 knife, it seems pretty decent. I just want to get that piece replaced so that I can start carrying the knife.

Yes.. Bladetech makes excellent quality folders.... Such as the Rijbak or the Pro hunter in g-10/s30v... Excellent fit and finish and a very comfortable folder...

Blade-Tech is an excellent company and I have nothing but good things to say about their customer service. I recently sent in my Rijbak for service and Mr. Vellekamp took his time to talk to me on the phone about it. They are an excellent company and I have owned many of their products and this is the first time I have had a defect on any of them.
 
You should just call them tomorrow .. So you dont have to worry about it...;)
Otherwise im sure they would reply by tomorrow night , if not monday...

Sure thing. I'm just bummed. I bought this knife and it got here today. The action was "gritty feeling so I took it apart to see if the edges were rough (the washers just seemed a little dirty), and this happens. Bummer. I hope I can fix it soon.
 
I know... nothing worse than having an issue with a new knife... its happened to me with a few expensive ones even....
I feel your pain...
