With all of this going on with Buck, I wanted to share my moset recent brush with Buck's customer srvice.
I sent in a Buck Crosslock to Joe for repair. I left on vacation for a week right after I sent the crosslock in. When I get back home I have two boxes from Buck. In both boxes were New Buck 186s linerlocks. They sent the 186 in replacement for the crosslock as it had been long DCed.
I was a bit confused why they would send me two knives for the one I sent in. I called Joe and told him that two knives were sent to me and I did not know why. I asked him what I needed to do. He got my name and number and said he would have someone call me back soon. 5 mins. later the phone rings, it is a Buck customer rep. that says to keep both knives :thumbup: She also went on to say how much they respect their customers and want them happy.
To me, this is number 1 customer service. They do look out for their customers/family.
I want to Thank everyone at Buck Knives for all the hard work, and all of the workers that lost their jobs I wish you all luck. Take care.
