How good is Strider knife ? And why ?

Being not a big fan of Strider knife, I just want to know how tough are they ?

Most knives of thick stock and edges heat treated properly will probably be fairly tough. Although some steels are tougher than others more or less. Striders have a solid reputation as being hard use tools.
