How good is the edge on the TGLB?

Been looking at these for some time. I just saw a video on youtube, a guy showing his TG and mentioning that becuase of the rather steep grind, it wasnt that sharp.
I see that it has that rather steep bayonet grind. While I like its general shape, I do want my knives to cut very well.
How does the edge and sharpeness of your TG compare to you other Busse knives? I liked the edge in my LE Basic 6 (truly razor sharp out the box), not so much on my Boss Jack.
Opinions?

Strictly speaking, sharpness and edge geometry are not related. A knife could have a very steep grind and be extremely sharp,or a very shallow grind but dull. On average, Busse knives tend to have a steeper grind than other brands. If the edge geometry or the sharpness of your Busse is not to your liking, just contact Garth, and he will fix you up. Or feel free to change the edge yourself to meet your needs. That's what I do.

Mine came with about 20degree's to a side fairly normal grind angle. Not hair popping sharp from the shop but a few strokes on a stone took care of that. It cuts easily and well and holds a good edge. Its a much better edge angle than the original TG's. I've used it quite a bit in the couple of weeks I've had it, cutting rope or bale twine, chopping off the occasional limb and skinned one raccoon. Its a good all around knife, week long backpacking camping trip next week, I'll post a thread then.

I convexed mine way back and she cuts like no other Busse I have ,I think it cuts as well as my anorexic basic 4 now. By the way I LOVE my LBTG the thing feels like it could chop down a mountain but is still quick in hand, great knife.

Alan, thanks for a killer edge.
My TG just came today, not sure of the exact angle but seems shallower than most.
It shaves arm hair and slices phone book paper no problem.
I put it through the paces with some really hard, almost petrified fat wood
to see what she has. The hollow saber grind is very effective but it's definitely a different animal
when compared to full flat or convex. Over all I love the way it feels.
