cause i now tell time on a superior piece (hamilton, seiko, O&W vs. that crappy timex i had) on a tough band (rhino), pack it in a sweet ass backpack (maxpedidion pygmy), wearing a slick pair of shades (oakley minutes) that don't fog up (cat crap). when i ride, the tires on my bike are now semi-protected from flats (slime sealant). and my clothing lineup may very well soon merge into robbins 5.11's and danner boots.

thats the stuff i could think of off the top of my head.

you guys are the best.

Yes, it's now 8:47am on my O&W WCT Diver and have a Spyderco Lil Temperance and an Mini-Mag with Opalec Newbeam mod in my Maxpedition M2 pouch. My Maui Jim Ka'anapali shades are in my Samsonite Laptop back-pack.

;) :D :D :)

It hasn't affected me all that much......really.......it hasn't.

Ok, it's made my wish list so long I'll never get to the end of it.

I find this forum endlessly entertaining. The things that we men take pride in are simply astonishing. The $500 Italian steering wheel? Ridiculous! The $30,000 speaker cables? Hysterical! And now a guy is looking for a titanium garden shovel? Stop it, yer killing me!!!

It's made me broke...

an expensive "man purse"
an expensive backpack
2 expensive lights
6 expensive knives
ONE HAIRLESS ARM :D :p

Well I am dropping weight like crazy because I have not been able to eat since I saw someone post a question on what brand of butt lube to use! :barf:  :D

ROTLMAO Chris......:D

It's mostly just made me broke. But I also find it to be educational and insightful. By understanding what people are interested in it helps to sensitize one to new design possibilities.

After I have started reading this forum and got some qualified advice from the various fellow forumites, I've been compelled to:
1) hang an Arc AAA and a leatherman squirt from my keyring
2) fit a rhino band on my edc watch and a waterborne on my other one
3) get a maxpedition fatboy to carry my edc crap around
4) wear a wilderness instructor belt to keep my jeans up.
5) add a swedish fire steel and a CMG infinity to my hiking/survival kit
6) use a tru-nord hip/suspender pack for hiking.
I don't have oakleys 'cause I'm partial to maui jims. I have also contemplated buying titanium wedding bands but I couldn't make it in due time for my wedding, so I gave this one up.
I may be a little bit poorer but now I know that I'm not alone (in lunacy)!

Hasn't affected me at all, even without this forum I'd evenually have a SAK and a Photon on my Mr. Twistey keyring.
A Fisher bullet pen and a Pocket Wrench in my wallet.
A Benchmade 722 clipped to one pocket and an Arc LS suspended in the other. Just would've taken a bit longer. Now if I could learn how to flat braid 50 feet of paracord into a snazzy belt I'd be all set.
