I say that it will probably peak soon with the pics, then the price will go down over time, especially if they show up in other handle/blade finishes.

Look at the ASHes, would there be any left at the store if this was 2-3 months ago?

Original price $241 (someone correct me if I am wrong.)
Exchange sale $299 shipped and paypal incl. ($290.03 after paypal takes their cut, figure in at least $10 for shipping and you are down to $280.03)
Exchange sale $300 shipped & paypal incl. ($291 after paypal, figure $10 +/- shipping & you are down to 281.00, this & the 1 above is about $40 profit if my orig. price is correct.)
Exchange sale $320 priority USPS incl. No paypal.

I would say they are still pretty reasonable right now. The closer they get to $350 the less attractive they are to me. $275-280 shipped would be optimal if you ask me.

The typical is pattern is:

First released in it's original form (first buyers): Can sell for a large premium
First released in it's original form (later buyers): Can sell for a smaller premium
Later releases in multiple configurations: Sell at mkt value or less
A full year or more after last release: Steadily increase in value depending on popularity

Yes if Busse runs this knife like the GW then it will have an affect, but like the GW LE this will sell for 50-75% more than we paid within six months. If they never make any more... ? ? ? who knows.

But since they aren't common stock I don't buy a bunch of them to sell later. But since I'm going to change jobs and take a big pay cut maybe I should
