I know I am new to the forum and a new member of the ESEE family, but I have to say I have been blown away by you guys!!! I work for a large chain outdoor shop and I am completely taken back by how bad ass you guys (and girls Mrs. S and Sadie) are!! As soon as my ESEE 5 gets in I am taking it to all my local shops to get them to start carrying ESEE equipment and tools. There is no company in the world like ESEE. Jeff and Mike you are a rare breed and I thank you.

Now I am done being mushy... Feel free to make fun of me. ;)

Cool posting.

You'll love your ESEE 5. Enjoy the knife and post back with results, pics, etc.

Enjoy your ESEE-5...you're gonna love it, it's my personal favorite of the entire line. And yes, it's a great bunch of people here for sure.

That 5 is a Hoss, man. :D

Jeff goes to great lengths to downplay the fact that he and Mike, and Rowen, are making some of the best survival tools money can buy. Every time Jeff talks about it, he says, "Get a machete." :D

He's honest, that's his opinion. As for me, I can survive with just about anything. I've had Reeve hollow handles that never failed me, even less expensive hollow handles that have served me well. Standard USMC Kabars have stood the test of time.

There are so many things that I have now and don't have the time or money to take advantage of as much as I would like. When I was younger and had a new pickup truck and no one to answer to but myself, only responsible for myself, I used to do a lot more camping, hiking, fishing and hunting. I look at the gear I have now and I wish I had it back then. All of the great packs like my SpecOps T.H.E. Pack, Snugpack Merlin Bag, incredible LED lights that just run forever on a set of batteries and these ESEE knives. I wish I had all this stuff back in the early 90s. Excellent gear! :D

I have a 5, junglas and hest. Have had izula, 3, 4, & 6. I like what I have now most of all. Also look forward to hest/f which I have a mrdp le waiting with my name on it. Could not go wrong with esee and products, warranty or customer service.

Appreciate the post. This fourm is our family away from our real family. We enjoy the sarcasm abnd info posted here but what we really like is to see people using their knives. Some of these threads with people building traps, shelters and skinning deer makes it all worth it to us.

It looks like my knife should be in by tomorrow. If it is I will try to stick some pigs and have pictures posted by Friday night.:eek:

Kumbaya my Lord, Kumbaya...

:-)

Enjoy the 5. I love mine! FWIW it totally transforms depending on the sheathing, too. I have the MOLLE back and pouch for a tactical feel, and a custom scout carry from Dwayne Pucket for a woodsman/scout feel.

Cool!

Get ready on the Exchange forum folks because I sense some hurt feelings and some ESEE knife sell-offs coming!

If all I have to do is kill a few pigs to get a good deal on some ESEE knives I will make it a daily thing!!

Does this really happen?

From time to time someone's sacred cow will get milked, kicked in the ass and then shot in the face and they'll stomp off and sell stuff or whatever. :D

The next time I get pissed, I'm just going to sell Bladeforums, so there. :D

As Don mentioned, we don't just burn bridges around here, we C4 the shit outta them and blow them to hell. So, yes, once we find out someone has an aversion to something a knife is desigend to do, such as whacking a feral hog in the head, then we ride that train for a while and watch the ESEE sales papers.

some folks and their raw emotion make for good deals

like free give-away thrower edition ESEE's.

i am new to ESEE as well and couldn't agree more with the OP. the more time i spend in this forum the more i am impressed that a company like this exists anymore.
