How I Sharpen my knives -video

I did post this on Edge Snob on FB but figured that might be a different audience??

Anyhow, We have had about a week of rain here in Portland so I thought I would do a video on how I sharpen my knives. I am still learning but I thing there maybe some things that I do that many of you do not know about OR somethings that I do that are wrong or bad for the knife. Pls Comment.

I use KME with diamond and Chosera Stones with a WorkSharp by KO with Blade attachment.... and a stropblock.

This is the first video of a 6 part series.

It never got to the sharpening part it just showed the taping part 2 times. Which I thought was a waste and could have been already done. I think we know how to tape. DM

Thanks for the comment and I did fix the repeat problem. As I said in the post, this is one of 6 videos that I made. This is just knife prep, next is determining blade edge angle, then its reprofiling with the WorkSharp, then the the diamond stones and my mods on the KME, then the chosera stones, and then stropping. It was way to much to put in on video. The other videos are on my you tube playlist.
 
Thanks. Electrical tape a good idea. Tape near the pivot to protect the handle is something I could add to my system.
I'll watch more if you link or post more.
Maybe use the fast forward here or there when editing your vid. Most sharpening vids could do with a good deal of fast forward.
