I got really tired of the quench tank sitting on a rolling tool box and taking up a large area of floor space. I was building some stock shelves and came up with an idea of hanging it on the wall. Here is what I did.

That is the storage position. I made a hinge on one side so I can swing it out and position it anywhere within about 180deg.

This saves me so much room and it is very convenient. I just need to move it slowly so I don't spill the oil. There is a bracket under the free end in the stored position so I is not stressing the hinge.

Got 2 extinguishers within 10 feet. Also you can see the concrete backer board leaning against the wall. I used that to line the walls in all my shop spaces. If the tank flashes I can always put the lid back on, which is what I do. But Yes if anyone does this be sure to keep the flash-over in mind.
