How i'm carrying the CS Trail.H

I've had my C.S Trail Hawk for a while and i always wondered how i was going to carry it in or on a pack, the Maxpedition site provided the answer !.

MaxP UFBS (Unvversal Flashlight baton Sheath)

Attaching the hawk with the UFBS has worked out great using a molle clip

I have since cut off the velcro tabs that were apart of the sheath, (red stars, yeah their stars LOL)) they were in the way and not allowing the molle clip to engage as much as i would like, plus it sits flatter on the pack too

* sorry for no pack pics, but i am using the SnugPack Endurance 40 with MOLLE.
 
As a note, I've found that if you leave the horizontal velcro tabs ON but attach the pouch to your MOLLE gear with them open, then close the tabs they lie flat but create a nice snug vertical fit (no up and down shifting!) Too late now, though, I guess. :)

Yep chopped them off :).

With the sheath i am using a LONG Molle clip, i have it going through 3 rows so there isn't any movement (i hate stuff moving about).


I knew i would find a solution eventually :thumbup:
