How Inlay Seb clips "should" look?

Recently received my second Sebenza in a trade, and this one just happens to also have an inlay, this time in Gabon. I have become partial to inlays even though I have never owned a plain 21. They are very classy looking IMO, and give the knife some flair. I'm on the lookout for an Umnumzaan, which will fill my rugged, plain Ti, CRK slot (love the blade shape).

The clip came partically scotch brited, so I decided to finish the job and see how a satin finish looks on this knife. I have heard some people asking for polished clips as an option to match the polished flats, so I wanted to post a pic in case someone wanted to see it before trying it. I really like the black inlay to contrast with the polished flats, so I wanted to clip to match. I really like how it turned out.

Here are a couple pics of both knives for comparison to the bead blasted clip. Both Large 21's

Let me know what you think?
Should a satin clip be optional/standard for inlay Sebenzas?

I like the blasted one honestly, probably because I am so used to it. Two-Tone always looks cool to me, I love the reverse contrast CGG/UG......The satin finish looks good, but I like the fact that the blasted one, since its rough, helps the clip to do its job and stay in place.

I prefer the original blasted look, too. It matches the lockbar is sits on.

I think it turned out great. Really does go with the knife better. Finishes the knife IMO.

I like the fact that the blasted one, since its rough, helps the clip to do its job and stay in place.

I left the under side beadblasted, to keep it grippy. So it isn't smooth underneath. I just sanded down the top to help it blend in with the knife.

The standard finish does help blend with the lockbar, which is nice. Good thing is... I have 2! so I can change it up depending on my mood.
I like the polished clip with the black inlay. The other clip will stay beadblasted.

That's how they should look IMHO. It came out sweet...

I prefer the blasted one. But it is close: they both look fine, just a matter of personal preference. Great Sebbie, by the way.

I used sand paper as well. The finish was already partically scotch-brited, so it wasn't too time consuming.
I used old 400 grit, which probably looks more like 600. Can't go wrong with either of those.

I like the polished clip inlay! I might have to get one and polish it so I can carry in the pocket sheath with lanyard. The clip gets in the way of slipping the knife back in the sheath.

Thanks everyone for the comments.

Great Sebbie, by the way.

Thanks very much. I like both of these, but one might end up being traded for a small inlay, so I have a large/small pair.

I have an insert on order for my Lg Sebenza polished inlay - I'm thinking the polished insert is the way to go. It looks great.

As for the polished clip, I really like the way it sets off the inlay. Since I plan on removing it though, I think I'll keep it blasted.

That looks nice! Another option that I personally would like to see is a polished clip insert

I personally prefer the blasted finish to a satin, it is less obvious when clipped to the pocket and those everyday knocks, scrapes and dings don't show up quite as much.
Also, as you have found out, it is a right PITA to get an even satin finish on bent bits of Ti. As you can see on your clip the edges and high points are a bright satin but the flats and bends are still needing a bit more work. If you bend a piece of Ti that already has a satin finish things aren't much better so there is really no winning. :p
