I am considering getting a SERE 2000 but would like to know if anyone has had service experience with this company...I have never owned an Al Mar knife before, and I couldn't find an e-mail address for customer service on their website. Not that I would expect any problems with the SERE 2000, but you never know if in future the knife needs a little adjustment, etc.
Thanks for any help.

AMK's service is awesome.

I have a serial numbered SERE/Attack that was stolen from me and then recovered. The thief had managed to do some serious damage to this knife,(apparently tried to tear it apart) which had a great deal of sentimental value to me. I thought the knife was destroyed.

Without going into great detail, Ryanne Mar personally hand carried my seriously damaged knife back to Japan, handed it over to her people there for repair, then brought it back to the US and mailed it back to me. I have examined the knife countless times and I know for a FACT that the damaged parts were repaired not replaced, and the knife is 100% original and LNIB. No charge.

It just doesn't get any better than that.

I sent my S2K for a lock adjustment since it would fail the spine whack. Took 2 months to get it back though the lock seems fine. I guess I am so spoiled by Buck and Spyderco that I feel 2 months is a bit long.

One thing I did not consider....do they send these knives back to Japan for service? If that is the case I can see the delay. Perhaps someone can comment on that.
