how is "busse" pronounced?

i lurked here a bit and i like the blades but i've never handled 1.i'm just curious as to how the name is pronounced.i know Jerry Busse started the company.

I am sorry if anyone takes offense at the following but come on folks, at least try to use the search function first. If you plug in the word "pronounce", you get at least three or more threads made in the last year asking this same question. I don't fault a new guy for not knowing and asking for the answer, but do a little work on your own, please.

That being said, welcome aboard and have fun. One clue in the search, if you plug Busse in, you aren't going to get anything anywhere on the forum, too many hits over whelms the system.

I can see how one would make that leap.

So we can defintely say Jerry is not "boozy." It's Bus-ee, Bus-ee, Bus-ee, Bus-ee. Get the hint? I, myself always pronounced it Boozey until I learned better. Jerry is not Boozey, right? Forget the JWB and the Black Lable: I think they are just diversions.

At shows I've heard all kinds of pronunciations...

"Buzzy"
"Byu-see"
"Byu-say"
"Buss"
"Boo-say"
"Boo-see"
"Buh buh buh um, hoiw do you pronounce that?"

The best part is when they come up, read the sign, and ask

"How do you pronounce your last name?"

"Wood" .... :thumbup:
